Ms. Natural Line Orgánicos
Ms. Natural Line Orgánicos is a woman and family owned hair salon located in Hato Mayor Del Rey, Dominican Republic. Celebrated as a local favorite for natural hair products, the salon was looking for an effective strategy to scale their operations both throughout the island and into the United States. Relying on social media platforms for all business and marketing activities posed challenges for scalability and streamlined customer interactions, creating a need for a unified online presence and enhanced branding collateral to increase customer engagement, secure purchasing processes, and establish a recognizable presence beyond their local market.
Amazon Storefront Design
Problem: Ms. Natural Line's manual order processing through WhatApp was time-consuming and error-prone. Additionally, without a reliable courier service and logistics infrastructure, shipment delays and high shipping costs would ultimately immobilize international reach.
Solution: An Amazon storefront helped streamline order processing and improved reliability. High-quality product visuals emphasized the salon's focus on natural ingredients, appealing to health-conscious customers. Leveraging Amazon's trusted platform increased customer confidence, expanded market reach, and ensured smoother, more efficient shipping both domestically and internationally. Designed in Figma.

Product Manipulation
Challenge: Studio-captured product images failed to creatively visualize the appeal of the brand’s natural ingredients, inciting the need for a more visually rich and emotional user experience.
Solution: Product manipulations helped bring Ms. Natural Line's value propositions to life, combining vibrant colors and essential herbal ingredients into graphics that could be used across web, socials, ads, and more. Designed in Adobe Photoshop.
UX/UI Web Design
Challenge: Without a website, Ms. Natural Line Orgánicos lacked a central hub for product exploration, appointments, and promotions, making it undiscoverable on Google and limiting its market reach. Without a secure checkout system, this left customers without easy payment options outside of WhatsApp.
Solution: Inspired by the original bottle designs, the website was crafted to ensure brand consistency and Web Accessibility compliance. This mockup prioritized clear calls-to-action for products and bookings, along with minimal pages to facilitate product accessibility. Budget-conscious design used SEO-optimized imagery and Amazon hyperlinks for secure payments, aimed to enhance product visibility and user retention. Designed with Figma.

Print Brochure
Challenge: Despite an active social media presence, the salon lacked physical marketing materials, missing the opportunity to provide customers with shareable and take-home information about their products during events or visits.
Solution: A brochure catalogue was designed with vivid imagery showcasing use cases, ingredients, luxurious results and call-to-actions. This helped customers easily explore product details, reinforcing brand credibility and visibility in-store and beyond while encouraging increased and informed purchasing decisions. Made in Adobe InDesign.

Packaging Refresh
Challenge: Ms. Natural Line’s bottle labels, created by a third-party company, faced several quality control issues, including blurry images, hard-to-read text, and inconsistent logo colors, which hurt brand consistency and professionalism. The salon also lacked access to original assets or English translations, making future updates expensive and limiting scalability.
Solution: The bottle labels were redesigned using precise DPI and CMYK specifications, ensuring vibrant, consistent colors and clear, high-quality imagery. Access to the final InDesign files gave the salon full control over future updates, allowing for long-term cost savings and flexibility. Made with Adobe InDesign.

Blender 3D Product Visualization
3D product renders offered Ms. Natural Line a cost-effective opportunity to develop marketing collateral and explore the limitless creative flexibility of angles, lighting, and art direction without the need for extensive photography resources. Made in Blender.

Product Photography
Problem: Without product images, the salon was unable to showcase products, create marketing collateral, or scale into the digital marketplace. Additionally, inconsistent logo and bottle colors made by a third-party company undermined brand consistency and professionalism.
Solution: High-resolution studio photography and post-processing were prioritized to accurately showcase each product. These images became the foundation for all marketing collateral, emphasizing that strong product visuals are crucial for building a digital identity and achieving scalability. Shot with Sony and edited with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

Branding Refresh
Challenge: The logo, made by a 3rd-party company, was pixelated, off-color, and cut off, creating visual inconsistencies across media and bottle labels. Without access to original files and assets, updates were difficult. The brand also lacked official typography and color palettes, complicating the creation of cohesive marketing materials.
Solution: The logo was recreated, restoring it to a clean, modern look while staying true to the original vision. Multiple logo variations were created for versatility across platforms, with additional typography and color palettes introduced to reflect the brand's lush and playful identity. The philosophy that nature breathes life into our bodies inspired rich and pastel color choices, along with the pink bougainvillea — a local town and packaging feature — creating a botanical aesthetic that appeals to the salon's target audience of Hispanic and American women aged 20-40 seeking to tame their hair and remove harsh chemicals from their hair routines. Made in Adobe Illustrator.

Visual Branding Storyboarding
The storyboard begins to map out key themes and imagery that align with the brand's mission and target audience. It ultimately aims to guide future creative decisions as the brand expands to ensure that it remains recognizable and impactful in a competitive marketplace. Illustrated with Adobe Photoshop and Wacom.
